Comic-Con Wrap Up

Comic-Con was a sweeping success for the Tired Girl Collective. Our table was quite popular with women, men, and children. I think a lot of women were truly drawn in by the “pinkness” of us. One man summed it up by saying, “This is exactly the kind of stuff I like to buy as gifts.” Kids seemed to be attracted to Jodi’s hamsters while more women seemed to like Karen’s notecards, prints, and baby t’s, and Sherri’s book and short story. Everyone wanted Anna’s alphabet t-shirts, which are currently only available in toddler sizes. Due to the larger amount of interest by adults though, she just may be making bigger ones soon.
Other goodies such as Anna’s comic, Karen’s keychains and tote bags, Jodi’s buttons, and Sherri’s Mom’s paintings sold well too. It was a fun, yet truly exhausting, time. We live up to our name!
